FORLORN MONUMENTS OF FORGOTTEN MEANING

In the former Republic of Yugoslavia exist monuments that were built in the 60’s and 70’s to mark historic sites, battlefields, concentration camps, and mass graves. Belgian Photographer Jan Kempenaers journeyed though the Balkans and photographed these big striking structures known as Spomeniks.
